GUIDED PARK TOUR
With its wide-spreading lime trees, multi-trunked tulip trees and pyramidal English oaks, the palace park is one of the most unique historical gardens of Hungary, with a special climate and an unmatched atmosphere and many intersecting paths. Visitors to the palace garden can take advantage of a guided park tour.
Guided park tours are available Tuesday through Sunday.

Summer opening hours: 7 a.m.-8 p.m. (from 1 April)

Adult ticket: HUF 1500 per head
Student and senior citizen tickets: HUF 750 per head
Wandering in the park can be more enjoyable with an English or German guided tour of the garden starting at 10.00 and 13.00 weekdays. Guided tours are available at other times as well after booking in advance.
The rejuvenated historic garden embracing the palace and having a peculiar climate and atmosphere amazes walkers with its paths, bridges spanning the brook, a fishing pond, plane trees, spreading lime trees, columnar English oaks and a multi-trunk tulip poplar. It is possible to wander in the park for hours without crossing the same path. The garden area surrounding the palace was planted in the mid-19th century. The two enormous plane trees rising on the bank of the brook and being counted among the highest ones of Hungary were also planted that time. The external part of the garden is managed by the forestry and it was planted with different pine species at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries. The terraced French formal garden in front of the southern façade was also created at that time. It offers a wonderful and unmatched view of the park rich in giant trees. The overnight guests of the apartment houses may take delight in the swarming of fireflies around the summer solstice and in playful squirrels every season.
